Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description

  • Monthly forecasting including securing spend and headcount updates from the managers and updating Hyperion
  • Annual planning, including securing spend and headcount from the managers and updating Hyperion and ensuring updates align with plan guidance
  • Month end close (reviewing cost centers, making journal entries, etc.)
  • Prepare variance commentary, including updating RVCS
  • Hold monthly financial reviews with Tech Directors and their staff
  • Quarterly R&D reporting
  • Review intangibles for impairment
  • Submit annual physical inventory schedules and coordinate effort for the PSLs
  • Manage capital requests
  • Submit WBS elements for capitalization
  • Ad hoc requests
  • Attend project reviews

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in SAP and Hyperion preferred 
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Understanding of accounting processes, procedure and internal controls
  • Strong research and analysis skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
