Country Marketing Manager / Singapore

Key Objective of Role —

Develop and manage Our client’s brand in order to grow brand awareness and traffic to Our client’s products and services. Develop comprehensive go-to-market consumer marketing plans, working closely with different stakeholder from local and regional office.

Summary of requirement: 

The person we are looking for is a strong commercial or product marketing leader who is analytical, strategic and who can implement, understand product/customer experience and has experience in digital and segment marketing.

Based in our “our clients” office in Singapore, the Country Marketing Manager is a key role in delivering the company’s long-term vision and growth ambitions by:

  • Driving the strategic marketing direction and proposition in the local market
  • Developing the marketing and digital plans in alignment with the business objectives of the country.
  • Providing inputs to the strategic programs, championing the needs of the local market and consumers.
  • Localizing and adapting the regional strategic programs to suit the local needs.  
  • Leading and overseeing the country marketing operation and driving achievement of business performance metrics
  • Drive creation and execution of local insights-driven programs; ie, segment plans, social media management, PR programs and test-and-learn projects. 
  • Proactively evaluate and understand market needs vis a vis products and services offered, ensuring that our offerings are competitive and ahead of industry requirements, allowing us to provide amazing service resulting in customer loyalty
  • Build and drive a team of motivated individuals who are committed towards organizational purpose and goals, infusing in them the values and culture of “OUR CLIENTS”
  • Ensure smooth teamwork between local teams, regional counterparts and inter-unit partners, creating a culture of collaboration and excellence in the process.

The Team

You will work closely with:

  • The Chief Marketing Officer, the Marketing Leadership Team, and the functional teams within Marketing (digital marketing, Martech and Operations, Segment Marketing, Brand and Marcomms). 
  • The “our clients” Singapore leadership team.  
  • Various cross-functional teams in the organization Product and Technology Team,  Commercial Excellence, Product Delivery, Regional Sales Operations, etc. 

Skills, Experience and Competencies

The successful candidate will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or MBA from reputable institution
  • 8-10 years of experience in startup, B2B digital or online business with strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
  • At least 5 years of experience working in strategy-related roles
  • A track record of having tackled genuinely ambiguous and strategic problems (i.e. where to play, how to win)
  • Proven experience in developing creative fact-based growth strategy
  • Highly analytical, structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • A passion for experimentation and growth hacking
  • Ownership, drive – delivering outcomes with cross functional, cross market teams
  • Ability to establish relationships and influence senior stakeholders from a range of cultures
  • Collaborative and empathetic work style. High degree of humility and willingness to “get stuck in”
  • A passion for the online industry and bias towards innovative cultures
