Lean Manufacturing Engineer / West Area

Roles and responsibilities

Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing existing process and re-arrange planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

Preform PFMEA, data analysis, SPC (statistical process control) techniques to identify improvement areas.

Design new systems, equipment and processes for improvement of existing manufacturing process and introduction of new product lines.

To lead factory-wide initiatives on ‘Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0’ and digitalization.

Oversee and improve the full lifecycle of a product’s manufacturing process, including design, construction, packaging and quality control.

work with other product, quality and production engineers to ensure all product and system requirements are meet. Liaise with suppliers to make sure right equipment’s and components are used. along with maintenance and production engineer to plan and organize maintenance of equipment’s.

Educate, train and supervise employees/technicians on current/new manufacturing and workflow processes.

Liaise with research and development engineers to ensure the company is at the forefront of an efficient product manufacturing process.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing/automation field.

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics engineering.

Expertise in any areas including Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen / Six Sigma.

Good track record of previous manufacturing process improvement projects.

Knowledge of ERP/MRP will be advantages ✓ knowledge of Electro-mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic system and SCADA will be advantages.

Able to handle CAD tool like solid works, inventor or pro-E and read machine drawings. ✓ Hands on person in factory environments

practical and logical approach to problem-solving.

Good English and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Demonstrates commitment to teamwork by fostering an environment of trust and respect.

Ability to think ahead and plan over for next 3-6 months.

Ability to work well under pressure and take on new challenges
